Installing automated doors to optimize and modernize airports
At Manusa we have installed several automatic doors in one of the new areas of the Ministro Pistarini International Airport, commonly known as Ezeiza Airport, in Argentina. It is located 35 km from the center of Buenos Aires and is a key point for air traffic in the metropolitan area of the capital of this South American country.
The company Aeropuertos Argentina 2000, which manages the building, needed functional access for the new departure terminal at this airport. In order to improve the efficiency of passenger transportation and ensure the safety of the facilities, advanced solutions were needed that provided reliability and the most innovative technology.
Alongside Audoor, our distributor in Argentina, we proposed a solution for this project that included the installation of 34 automatic sliding doors with central opening and an integrated panic system. This allows for a complete amplitude of the space, so that in the event of an emergency or the need to evacuate, people can leave the building quickly.
Our sliding doors not only meet the highest standards of safety and efficiency, but also offer added value to the user experience because of all the advantages offered by their installation. They also contribute to the airport's energy efficiency by preventing the loss of air conditioning caused by doors being left open unintentionally when the heating or air conditioning is on.
Advantages of installing automatic doors in an airport
Installing our automatic sliding doors has many benefits. They prevent congestion by allowing people to flow in and out, which is essential in an area where passengers move around with their baggage in search of check-in counters and security screening before reaching their boarding gate. Other advantages are the reliability and durability of our products, which are designed to withstand intensive use. They also include advanced technology that ensures quiet and efficient operation.
The doors that we have installed in the exterior area of the Ezeiza airport incorporate customized vinyls featuring airport motifs and signs that welcome travelers. This design enhances the aesthetics and contributes to the integration of the automatic doors with the rest of the building.
More than 800 automatic doors in Argentina
Audoor has installed more than 800 Manusa accesses in different airports in Argentina, consolidating its position as a reference in the installation and maintenance of automatic doors in this territory.
