CAP Tamarin
Tamarin is a village on the west coast of the Republic of Mauritius. A former fishing village, now a residential area and holiday resort, especially popular with surfers.
In this small village the new medical centre Cap Tamarin has been built, managed by the C+S group, which provides health services to other towns on the island. C+S is a multidisciplinary health diagnostic centre offering patients a high level of specialisation, medical consultations, emergency medical care, diagnostic imaging services, laboratory analysis and hospital home care.
What type of Manusa doors have been installed?
Single-slide opening hermetic doors have been installed, some with and some without a vision panel. The vision panel doors have been installed as an access door to operating theatres, as they allow a quick and safe view of the interior. While it is true that the doors open automatically on approach, they also incorporate an elbow push button option. The opening mode is set according to the patient's needs and usually via the Optima+ program selector.
If necessary (e.g. in the event of a power failure), the door can be opened manually thanks to the tubular handle and recessed handle, each fitted on one side of the leaf, so that the door can be opened from inside the operating theatre or from outside.
Hermetic swing doors were also installed, in environments where it is crucial to maintain pressure differences between rooms (such as hospitals or laboratories), hermetic doors ensure that levels remain constant.
