Comprehensive solutions at Clínica Pasteur

Sanitary

With almost 100 years of history, the "Clínica Pasteur" was founded in Quito in 1926 and in its beginnings was managed by different religious orders. In the early 70s, construction began on a new building on a different site from the original, and in the following years, it underwent a series of remodelling works on its facilities, as well as the implementation of new equipment and technology

Together, Constructura Edwin Samaniego Arquitectos and Equiphos, Manusa's official partner in Ecuador, carried out an important and outstanding project that consisted of the construction of five new floors with specialised functions.

Integral Solutions for Every Area of the Pasteur Clinic

On the different floors of the clinic, the most suitable Manusa doors were installed to meet the specific needs.

To access the ICU, telescopic automatic sliding doors and automatic glass hermetic doors were installed for the isolation rooms, as well as hermetic doors with airlock system, for doctors, nurses and visitors access control.

To access the surgical area, it was also decided to install telescopic doors with an airlock system, each with two hermetic doors: one airlock system for medical patients (main) and one for technical and cleaning staff.

With regards to operating theatres, hermetic sliding doors were installed, except in two of them, where it was decided to use leaded hermetic doors with a laminar flow system, which consists of a filtered air flow that removes all macro particles. This ensures maximum airtightness and hygiene in vulnerable such as operating theatres.

In the case of the sterilisation area, a hermetic door was installed, although this time the swing type was chosen in order to isolate the sterile delivery area, and prevent the spread of germs or bacteria.
