Covadonga Hospital and safe access

Located in the centre of the state of Veracruz, the 65,000 m2 Covadonga Hospital is the largest in the state. It has a medical staff of more than 80 certified specialists in 30 different areas, in addition to bringing together the most modern, state-of-the-art equipment in its facilities. It has also received certification as a Teaching Hospital in the State of Veracruz, which means that students from different health care universities will be able to train under the guidance of the best specialists.  

Where Can We Find Manusa Automatic Sliding Doors Installed? 

The doors can be found in the main entrance to the hospital and are bi-parting opening automatic doors with semi-transparent profiles, i.e. the leaves have top and bottom profiles. For access to the different buildings that make up the hospital, bi-parting sliding doors were also installed, sometimes with fixed leaves and sometimes without fixed leaves. This usually depends on the opening available; if the opening is wide enough, fixed leaves are usually installed. In any case, the automatic doors allow fast, smooth and safe access for all those who pass through the hospital throughout the day. 

Inside the hospital, automatic side-opening sliding doors were also installed; in this case they were transparent, only with upper profiles, favouring maximum transparency and visibility. The combination of automatic sliding doors with transparent materials not only provides a modern and clean aesthetic design, but also promotes a safer, more efficient and pleasant hospital environment. This is key to creating functional and humanised spaces within health centres.
