Customisation of hermetic doors for Hamad General Hospital

The hospital, which opened in 1982, is distinguished by its specialised hospital care and modern facilities. It has a large outpatient clinic with more than 65 consulting rooms, a full emergency department, five intensive care units, eight operating theatres and a well-equipped pharmacy. All therapeutic services are supported by advanced diagnostic tools including laboratory, pathology, medicine and radiology. 

The medical and clinical services offered include trauma, paediatrics, intensive care, surgery and rehabilitation for adults. In addition, the hospital has modern diagnostic imaging and laboratory medicine services. 

Different Manusa Automatic Doors According to Space and Requirements  

Manusa specialises in the manufacture, design and installation of automatic doors in a wide range of sectors. Specifically in the healthcare sector, it offers numerous solutions that adapt to the different areas in the hospital, and to the specific needs of each space. 

In the operating theatres, customised hermetic sliding doors were fitted, designed to the client's specifications. These larger-than-usual doors were made to fit perfectly into the doorway and feature large rectangular vision panels for easy viewing of the interior. 

In the radiology rooms, lead lined bi-parting doors with HPL finish were installed, which also include rectangular vision panels to allow healthcare professionals to observe without having to open the doors. On the other hand, the observation rooms of ICUs were fitted with glass hermetic doors with an integrated Venetian blind, offering privacy or visibility as needed, and facilitating the continuous monitoring of admitted patients.
