San Justo Italiano Hospital
The Italiano Hospital in Buenos Aires is a non-profit civil association dedicated to integral health care. Since 1853, it has provided medical care, trained undergraduate and postgraduate students, and conducted basic, clinical, and population-based research.
The integrated health network of the Italiano Hospital is made up of the Central Hospital, the San Justo Hospital and 15 Outpatient Medical Centres distributed throughout the different neighbourhoods of the Federal Capital and Greater Buenos Aires.
The Central and San Justo offices are available to resolve emergency and more complex situations. For their part, the Outpatient Medical Centres bring to the community the specialities and practices necessary for frequent and preventive health care.
Refurbishment and adaptation of new accesses
Audoor, as Manusa's official partner in Argentina, was responsible for the installation of more than twenty automatic doors, both in the headquarters located in the city of Buenos Aires, and in its headquarters in Sant Justo Agustín Rocca.
Founded in 1922 with the aim of creating a facility to care for chronically ill and orphaned children, the hospital began a series of renovations and new constructions in the early 2000s, such as the new Diagnostics building, as well as the Emergency and Outpatient Departments.
The entrances of several buildings were fitted with framed bi-parting automatic doors with panic-breakout system. This type of door offers multiple benefits in terms of safety, accessibility, efficiency and aesthetics. Their installation at entrances where there is a constant flow of people ensures people's safety.
In the indoor areas, framed automatic doors were installed to connect the corridors of the different hospital buildings. This eliminates the need to use handles or push heavy doors, which is especially beneficial for people with reduced mobility, the elderly, stretchers, etc.
