This is thanks to the emergency battery that is installed in the door. It is common for the automatic door to be connected to the fire alarm, and when this is activated, the door also opens automatically and remains open for safety throughout the evacuation process.

When the evacuation passage must be larger than the existing free passage, the panic mechanism must be incorporated in the doors. This allows the door leaves to fold sideways, maximizing the passage area and ensuring that an escape route with an automatic door complies with the regulations in the event of an emergency.
