Manusa solutions for the Oncoclinic Hospital of Nova Lima
Opened in 2018 in the neighbourhood of Vila da Serra, in the city of Nova Lima, Brazil, Oncobio is a modern oncology centre that is the result of a partnership between Biocor Hospital and the Oncoclinicas Group, one of the most important oncology, haematology and radiotherapy organisations in Latin America. This centre has been created with the aim of providing a comprehensive approach in the treatment of oncology patients, standing out for the incorporation of advanced technology and precision medicine techniques.
Oncobio is equipped with a wide range of services including complete oncology treatments, with radiotherapy being one of its main pillars. They use state-of-the-art equipment that allows treatments to be applied more precisely and safely, which helps to improve results and reduce side effects for patients. The centre has been designed with comfort and safety in mind, both for patients and their families and carers.
Automatic doors for access to any space
Our subsidiary in Brazil played a key role in the implementation of the necessary installations at the centre, working in collaboration with the local distributor Manuminas. Several automatic doors were installed in order to provide the greatest possible comfort and safety for all users of the centre, with special attention to patients requiring specific conditions during their treatment.
At the main entrance of the hospital, automatic panic doors were installed, which facilitate access for people, but also ensure safety in emergency situations, allowing for quick and efficient evacuation. To access the oncology ward, side-opening telescopic doors were installed, while in the treatment rooms and bedrooms, hermetic sliding doors were chosen, essential for maintaining a controlled environment, minimising the risk of disease transmission and favouring patient recovery.
