Refurbishment of the Al-Rashid Hospital Center

Al-Rashid Hospital Centre is a general hospital established in 1996. Initially specialising in psychiatry and addiction treatment, it underwent a comprehensive refurbishment in 2023 to become a dynamic hospital dedicated to providing the highest quality healthcare services. The hospital expanded its facilities to 20,000 m2, as well as expanding its coverage of medical disciplines.

Hermetic doors with frosted glass

Together with Alfa Security, the Manusa official partner in Jordan, a total of 23 hermetic sliding doors were installed in different areas:

• Delivery and recovery rooms: These are special areas in hospitals where pregnant women go through all stages of labour in one space.
• Intensive Care Units: this is a particularly vulnerable area, due to its demanding functional requirements, where patients have severe health problems requiring constant monitoring and treatment.
• Catheterisation laboratory: where tests and procedures are performed to diagnose and treat different cardiac conditions.
• Main entrance to the operating theatres

The hermetic doors installed in the different areas of the hospital, offer the highest performance to prevent the spread of pathogens and provide high antibacterial control in the different areas of the hospital.

In this case, the doors also incorporate frosted glass, which allows for easy cleaning and maintenance, so necessary in critical environments such as healthcare. This type of glass also offers privacy, and the leaves have been vinyl-coated with the names of the different access areas, to facilitate safe and agile transit.
