Hermetic doors in microbiology laboratories
A microbiology laboratory is an establishment that performs microscopic evaluations, either for prevention or diagnostic purposes, after taking and receiving biological and parasitological samples. In this sense, the main objective is to identify the micro-organisms that cause diseases, in order to receive adequate treatment. The role played in such laboratories is essential for our society and, above all, for our health and well-being.
In addition, it must have a storage place for the respective samples. Many cultures and tests cannot be carried out without very specific conditions relating to temperature, humidity, etc., therefore, it is essential that the microbiology laboratory always meets these conditions.
Abelenda Hermanos, as Manusa official partner, was in charge of installing different accesses to the new microbiology laboratories area. They installed a total of seven hermetic swing doors and two hermetic sliding doors. This is an area where hygiene and safety measures must be observed, both for personnel and visitors. Whether swing or sliding, Manusa's hermetic doors guarantee a safe and sterile environment, as they are specifically designed to prevent cross-contamination and maintain proper control of biosafety environments.
